Specialist Orthodontist, Practice Principal
Emma was raised in Bathurst, attending primary and high school here before heading to Queensland University to complete Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons).
Specialising in orthodontics has always been Emma’s great interest and focus for further study, leading her to complete the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics, at Adelaide University, before returning to Bathurst to take up the opportunity to continue the orthodontic practice established by Mark and Coral Cordato.

Specialist Orthodontist
As the former principal orthodontist of Creating Great Smiles, Mark was, many years, the only resident orthodontist in Central West NSW.
Mark is a university associate professor and member of many orthodontic and dental organisations, keeping up-to-date and well informed about all aspects of orthodontics and dentistry. Mark has been Head of Teaching Orthodontics for undergraduate students at Charles Sturt University’s Faculty of Dentistry for over 8 years.
In 2022 Mark made the decision to reduce his work engagements and transition the practice into new hands; he continues to work at the practice with Dr Emma Bowman.
